Jade is a registered psychologist with a Master’s degree in Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychological Science with First Class Honours.
She is a warm, collaborative practitioner with a special interest in the areas of child, adolescent and perinatal psychology. Jade also provides psychological assessment and treatment across the lifespan.
Jade takes a creative and holistic approach to working with clients. She works from a positive psychology approach and employs a variety of evidence-based therapies to optimise outcomes including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focussed CBT, Mindfulness based and Play Therapy interventions.
Jade is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and regulated by the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi).
In her down time, Jade enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, swimming and trying to bake!

Educational & Developmental Psychologist

Vanessa is an Educational & Developmental Psychologist who completed a Bachelor of Psychology (with Honours) and a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology.
Vanessa is a warm and playful clinician, who is passionate about advocating for the needs of the child and young person within their school and home systems. Vanessa seeks to understand the individual holistically, giving them a voice and placing them at the centre of their care. She also enjoys collaborating closely with parents, teachers and other allied health clinicians through the process.
Vanessa has experience working across both public and private sectors in Melbourne and Brisbane with children and adolescents and their families, and in particular working across the spectrum of neurodiversity. She draws upon various modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and neuroscience- and relationally-informed interventions.
Vanessa has a little cat named Olive and is learning to surf! She enjoys spending time at the beach reading a book or going on a road trip to explore the beautiful nature of QLD/NSW.

Maddison has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Second Class Honours.
Maddison has experience working across the lifespan and takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to therapy. She has a specific interest in Animal-Assisted Therapies and Interventions, having completed a Clinical Therapy Dog course with her dog Maple.
Maddison is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
In her downtime, Maddison loves spending time with her partner and dogs in the sunshine at the beach.

Chelsie Priestley is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). She is accredited with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours Class I) from Deakin University in Melbourne.
Chelsie has a wealth of experience working with young people and is highly passionate about supporting them to achieve their therapy goals. Chelsie believes in building a strong rapport with clients to help them feel safe and supported during their appointments.
Chelsie employs techniques from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Play Therapy.
Chelsie is particularly interested in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, stress, adjustment difficulties, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Outside of work, Chelsie enjoys being active and outdoors with her family and dog.

Joshua (“J”) completed his Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Bond University and is a Generally Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
He has experience collaborating with people from a diversity of cultures, backgrounds, ages, languages, and abilities all over the world in an assortment of settings and roles including his own experience as a military veteran in the U.S. Armed Forces, as a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, Disability Support Worker, Counsellor in adventure-based eco-therapy programs and as a Psychologist in schools and hospitals.
He has worked side-by-side with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of psychological challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, personality vulnerabilities, psychosis, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties to assist with the promotion of holistic wellbeing, self-determination, and social inclusion.
His main goal for any client that blesses him with their presence is to provide a safe, warm, trusting, compassionate, and non-judgemental space that facilitates an opportunity to develop awareness, acceptance, and appreciation for their enduring strengths and the growth that can emerge from their current challenges, aiming to ultimately enable a deeper, more authentic relationship with themselves and with others while guiding a genuine sense of their inherent self-worth and belonging in the world.
Joshua’s approach is person-centered, emotion-focused, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming and uses a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and parenting programs which are tailored to each individual and their family’s unique needs, goals and interests.

Issy has completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science and Graduate Diploma of Psychology and is provisionally registered with AHPRA.
Issy’s experience facilitating creative group workshops for all ages, nature immersive experiences for children and as a skateboard instructor for children, youth and adults has been informed by the evidence-based therapeutic benefits of somatic and eco-psychology.
In session, Issy’s warm and positive approach helps build trusting relationships with clients and their broader support networks, whilst drawing on CBT, ACT and mindfulness practices to support clients with pragmatic strategies to implement in everyday life.
In her spare time, Issy will be surfing or skating with friends, on a creative spree, or somewhere green and out of reception.

Mikaela has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Mikaela has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns related to anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD.
Mikaela seeks to provide a warm and empathetic environment where clients feel validated and supported, with an emphasis on maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients and their families. In therapy, Mikaela utilises an evidence-based approach, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness to help clients achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Mikaela likes to take her dog to the beach, cook a new recipe, and spend quality time with her friends and family.

Provisional Psychologist
Availability: Monday to Thursday at Tweed Heads.
Samantha has graduated with a Master of Professional Psychology at Bond University.
Samm is an enthusiastic and warm person who is passionate about working with adolescents and their families to assist them in navigating adolescence, and develop the tools and skills to achieve their daily and long-term goals. Samm enjoys using a positive, holistic approach to therapy and works with clients collaboratively in sessions to target any specific, desired goals. She uses a CBT approach in therapy to reach these goals.
Samm has experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. Samm has received positive feedback from both parents and clients in the social skills group she co-facilitates for both teen boys and teen girls. Within the groups, Samm provides a safe and welcoming environment to encourage young boys and girls to engage and communicate with other like-minded people within the community to support their social development goals.
In her spare time, Samm enjoys being active, reading, and spends her days off with friends and family.

General PsychologistAvailability: Nienke will be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Bangalow from June 2024.
Nienke is a registered psychologist with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Clinical Developmental Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
She considers herself an open, honest, and transparent therapist, dedicated to creating a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Nienke works collaboratively with her clients, continually checking in to ensure a good fit. Nienke is passionate about supporting her clients in coping with difficulties and building lives aligned with their values, hopes, and dreams.
Nienke has experience in both the public and private sectors in Europe and Australia. She works with children, adolescents, their families, and (young) adults, with a particular interest in helping adolescents and (young) adults dealing with trauma, such as PTSD. She is also well-trained in assisting children and adults with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Nienke employs a variety of evidence-based interventions, primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused treatment EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. She is passionate about flexibly implementing interventions from different approaches to find the right fit for each client.
Besides, sessions in English she can also offer therapy sessions in Dutch.
Nienke loves soaking up the sun at the beach, playing tennis, diving into a good book, enjoying dinners with friends, and taking road trips to explore Australia’s stunning nature. Also, she's determined to become a good surfer someday!

Jade is a qualified Occupational Therapist having completed her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy at Griffith University. Jade has experience working with children across all ages. She has a particular interest in working with upper primary school aged children to teenaged clients and loves facilitating teen group interventions.
Jade has completed training in and is passionate about using the Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance (CO-OP) approach to support her clients to set goals and develop problem-solving skills to achieve their desired goals. She strongly believes in using a client-centred and family-centred approach to practice to provide the best possible outcomes of therapy.
In her downtime, Jade enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, and playing with her dog, Barkley.

Occupational Therapist
Availability: Monday, Wednesday & Friday at Tweed Heads.
Tori has recently completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University. She joined the team at Little Souls Wellness Centre as an Allied Health Assistant, working under the supervision of experienced Occupational Therapists. As she approaches the completion of her studies, Tori is looking forward to transitioning into a new graduate role in late 2024.
Tori has completed all clinical placements, gaining hands-on experience in supporting clients and families. Tori has experience working outside-of-hours school care, where she organised activities to promote engagement, social interaction, and overall development amongst children. This experience sparked her passion for working with children of all ages. Tori is dedicated to empowering clients to achieve their full potential and become the best version of themselves.
Outside of the clinic Tori enjoys spending time with friends, reading a book, and relaxing by the beach.

Kali is a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist who completed her bachelor's degree at Griffith University.
Kali is also trained as a Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding Therapist. Kali is fully registered with the Australian Practitioner Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Kali is passionate about supporting young children and their families to achieve their full potential by endorsing a fun, collaborative and holistic approach to therapy.
Kali provides tailored intervention programs focusing on increasing independence with self-care tasks, improving fine and gross motor skills, teaching social skills, supporting emotional regulation as well as handwriting and sensory processing.
Outside of work, Kali enjoys spending time with family and friends, coffee and going to the gym.

Her focus in therapy is play-based, and finding moments for laughter and fun whilst creating a space for learning. Jessica's skills lie in assisting in self-care management, emotional regulation, sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills and developing handwriting.

Chris has worked as an Occupational Therapist with both children and adults since graduating in 2002. She is interested in the brain and body connection, and providing Occupational Therapy treatment using a “bottom-up” approach.
This involves developing strong brain and sensory foundations to ensure a child has a solid base on which to build their other skills including fine and gross motor, social, emotional regulation and executive function. Intervention targets reflex integration, brain balance, sensory processing and nervous system regulation through play and parent education.
Chris enjoys keeping up with the latest professional development. She is a certified Safe and Sound protocol practitioner based on the Polyvagal theory, and is currently studying Dr Melillo’s Childhood Neurodevelopmental Certification course to become a Melillo Method certified practitioner.
In her downtime Chris enjoys spending time in nature, surfing, reading a good book and gathering with friends and family to eat and laugh around a fire.

Through ensuring a client centred approach, Brie enjoys working with families to best support positive wellbeing, gaining independence and building skills around activities of daily living. Lani is a registered Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist from Southern Cross University in 2021. She has over 5 years experience working within the Paediatric field starting out as a Support Worker, Occupational Therapist Assistant and now as an Occupational Therapist. She started her career working in the community with NDIS participants aged between 0-68, then moving forward into the early childhood sector in 2022. She has worked with a diverse range of disabilities such as Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Prader Willi Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Apraxia, Dyspraxia, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Expressive and Receptive Language disorder, Early Childhood Trauma and genetic disorders.
Lani has taken interest in SOS feeding, emotional regulation, parent coaching, sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills and handwriting skills. She has specifically worked with; assessment and prescription of assistive technology & equipment, report writing, leading handwriting programs, emotional regulation, reflex integration and sensory processing based activities.
Lani prides herself on working within a family centred practice by collaborating with the child's family and surrounding relationships. Working within a Family Centred Approach ensures that goals are thoroughly identified, assessed appropriately and corresponded with the child and their family to achieve optimum results. She aims to deliver evidence-based care and effective strategies suited to your family and child.
Lani enjoys being outdoors such as playing touch football, going on walks, swimming at the beach and spending time with her dog, Theo.

Sorrell is a certified Speech Pathologist, and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Master of Speech Pathology through Griffith University on the Gold Coast.
Sorrell works with children and their families to develop their confidence and ability to communicate meaningfully in everyday environments. Sorrell is passionate about working closely with families to employ evidence based and family centred approaches to intervention. She believes in multidisciplinary collaboration and tailoring interventions to meet each individual’s needs, identifying areas of strengths and supporting them to reach their potential and thrive.
She offers experience working with children in the areas of speech, language, literacy, fluency, pragmatics (social skills) and augmentative and alternative communication (assistive technology).

Lucy is a certified Speech Pathologist, and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honours) and a Master of Speech and Language Pathology through the University of Sydney.
Through her various placement experiences, Lucy has developed a keen interest in working with children across all ages. As a speech pathologist, Lucy strives to work collaboratively with children and their families to deliver fun and evidence-based therapy sessions in order to help her clients achieve their communication goals and reach their full potential.
Lucy is passionate about helping families and individuals feel empowered and supported. She believes in taking a creative and family-centred approach to intervention ensuring that therapy is tailored to the specific needs and strengths of each individual.

Julia is a Speech Pathologist and certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. She completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology degree at the Australian Catholic University in Sydney and has worked in the field in both Australia and Canada.
As a Speech Pathologist, Julia believes it is important to recognise children’s individuality and value the importance of fun, engagement, and meaningful experiences to support a child’s learning and development.
Through her work as a speech pathologist Julia has developed a passion for working with early language, preschool aged children, and early primary school aged children. Julia believes intervention should be fun, evidenced based, family-centred and goal focused.
Julia has experience working in the areas of speech, language, literacy, and fluency. She has previously worked with children with developmental delays and disorders, in Sydney, Calgary, The Central Coast and Newcastle. Julia is a strong advocate for early intervention and loves seeing children and families meet their goals.

Taylor is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia, having recently completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Southern Cross University. Taylor has previously worked with us as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), supporting clients as they achieve their goals in speech, language, and literacy.
Throughout her various placement experiences and role as an AHA, Taylor has developed a keen interest in working with early language, preschool-aged children, and early primary school-aged children. Taylor is passionate about providing therapy within a family-centered approach, ensuring her clients and their families are achieving their communication goals. She strives to deliver fun and engaging sessions that are evidence-based and tailored to meet the needs of each client. This holistic approach reflects Taylor's commitment to fostering a positive and effective therapeutic environment.

Shannon is a Speech Pathologist and certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. She completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) degree at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, and has worked in the field in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
As a Speech Pathologist, Shannon believes in fostering an emotionally safe and warm space for children/youth and their families in order to support each individual on their communication journey.
She enjoys multidisciplinary collaboration and utilising holistic approaches to make outcomes meaningful in everyday life. Play is integral in Shannon’s sessions with children, as both a learning tool and a motivator, with intervention being family-centred, evidence based, strengths based and shaped by collaborative goal setting.
Shannon has experience working in the areas of speech, language, literacy, fluency and pragmatics (social skills). She has also worked with children and adolescents with developmental delays and disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, and who require the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (assistive technology).

Mia is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia, having recently completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Southern Cross University. Mia has previously worked with us as an Allied Health Assistant supporting clients as they achieve their goals in speech, language, phonological awareness and literacy.
Through her various placement experiences, Mia has developed a passion for working with children of all ages. She strives to provide intervention that is evidence-based and tailored to the specific needs and strengths of the client, and provide therapy that is meaningful and fun. Mia believes in a family-centered approach to assessment and intervention, to ensure her clients and their families are achieving their speech and communication goals.

Rebecca is a graduate of the Master of Speech Pathology program at Griffith University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with an extended minor in Psychology. She has experience supporting children as an Allied Health Assistant (Speech Therapy), including those with hearing differences, neurodiverse traits, and a range of developmental needs.
Rebecca is deeply passionate about providing early speech and language support to bilingual and multilingual families, and she is committed to delivering neurodiversity-affirming therapy that recognises and values the unique ways in which every child communicates and learns.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys watercolour painting and exploring her new home on the Gold Coast with friends.

Brooke is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia. Brooke has completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Newcastle.
Brooke works with children and adolescents to provide evidence-based and engaging therapy that is unique to each individual's needs. Through a collaborative approach with families, Brooke creates an environment where her clients are able to achieve meaningful goals and reach their full potential. Brooke has a special interest in working with feeding difficulties, and is an SOS-trained Feeding Therapist. Brooke also enjoys working in the areas of speech, language and literacy to enhance her clients' communication skills.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys going for runs along the beach, playing soccer, and cooking new recipes.

Kristi is an Accredited Practising Dietician with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics. Kristi's experience ranges across ages, with a special interest in paediatric nutrition.
Kristi takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to nutrition and is passionate about working with families to set achievable goals to support your child's nutrition and eating behaviours. Kristi believes that good nutrition and a positive relationship with food is so important for ensuring little ones grow to be healthy and reach their full potential.

Shona is a friendly and creative teacher with an interest in early childhood education and care. She has a passion for encouraging little learners to develop their independence and resilience through a warm and supportive learning environment.
Shona has a particular interest in differentiating learning activities to enhance and cater to all types of students in her care and has developed individualised learning plans to both support and extend students.
Since completing her Bachelor of Primary Education in 2012, Shona has taught in various year levels from Preschool to Year 6, positively developing the minds of hundreds of little learners. In this time, she also completed her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Shona is available for school readiness support, private tutoring, support work and educational counselling.
Shona enjoys spending time with her dog Ollie and hanging out with her niece and nephew, Jade’s kiddies!
